Pesca con mosca, otra opción para sus vacaciones en Mendoza

Para aquellos que disfrutan de la pesca, las propuestas para sus vacaciones en Mendoza son abundantes y variadas.

La Estancia El Parral se encuentra a 130 kilómetros al sur de la ciudad de Mendoza. Emplazado sobre el hermoso Valle de Uco, este rancho privado ofrece un lugar exclusivo y muy apacible para pescar en el arroyo Rosario. Este curso de aguas cristalinas se encuentra a sólo unos pasos de la estancia, y es hogar de la más hermosa trucha arco iris de la que la región cuyana tenga registro.

Para pescar con mosca en el arroyo Rosario, es necesario contar con líneas flotantes, tiradas aguas arriba. Las moscas también pueden utilizarse, pero sólo en ciertas horas del día. Las tan codiciadas truchas, ya sean pardas o arco iris, generalmente habitan en la parte baja de la corriente. De allí que deban ser abordadas con suma delicadeza y sigilo, de manera de que no noten la presencia del pescador. El río posee cantidades enormes de truchas y las moscas son también abundantes.

La excursión a Estancia El Parral comienza temprano, a las 8 de la mañana, para aquellos que deben trasladarse desde la ciudad de Mendoza. Los visitantes llegan a las 9.30 AM a la estancia y allí se preparan para emprender la marcha hacia la zona de mejor pique. Durante aproximadamente 30 minutos siguen el camino de montaña hasta alcanzar zona más deprimida del curso de agua. Allí, el grupo pasa la mañana puliendo sus técnicas de pesca con mosca y tratando de atrapar alguna de las tan deseadas presas. No es una tarea fácil. Las truchas pesan entre 500 gramos y 1.5 kilos, a veces pueden alcanzar los 2 kilogramos. Además, poseen mucha fuerza y son casi perfectas escapistas.

Llegado el mediodía, el grupo de pescadores, más divertido que frustrado, realiza una pausa para almorzar. El tradicional asado argentino los espera a la orilla del río, acompañado con diversas ensaladas y los mejores y más deliciosos vinos mendocinos. Una vez que la sobremesa finaliza, los invitados reanudan su tarea, pero esta vez se ubican unos metros río arriba, con la intención de pescar peces más grandes. Alrededor de las 7 de la tarde, la jornada de pesca con mosca llega a su fin. El grupo se dirige a la estancia El Parral para recuperar energía y saborear una cena liviana antes de emprender su retorno al hotel en Mendoza.

El invierno es una estación muy dinámica y poblada para los locales de la región de Cuyo. La trucha arco iris, vedette del turismo en Mendoza

Todo invitado que se aloja en cualquier hotel de Mendoza no quiere perderse, por nada del mundo, la oportunidad de recorrer la región cuyana en toda su extensión. Sus ríos y lagos de aguas cristalinas son hogar de los más hermosos peces. Es por ello que muchos amantes de la pesca llegan desde todas partes del planeta a la provincia de Mendoza con la expectativa de atrapar alguno de estos magníficos ejemplares. Y de eso se trata la región de Cuyo, un lugar destinado a ser uno de los puntos de pesca más relevantes del mundo.

La provincia de Mendoza descansa sobre un suelo extremadamente árido. Sin embargo, su pueblo se las ha ingeniado para transformar las tierras mendocinas en unas de las más fértiles y productivas del país. Se han construido diques y represas hidroeléctricas sobre los numerosos ríos mendocinos, a fin de aprovechar su fuerza para producir energía eléctrica y alimentar a todos los sistemas de riego de la región. Las truchas pardas y arco iris también prefieren las corrientes montañosas como hábitat natural, en especial cerca de Malargue, el río Grande y el Salado, al sur de Mendoza. En el norte se encuentran el río Atuel y el Nihuil, embalsado en el dique de Valle Grande. Los ríos Diamante y Atuel abastecen a la reserva de Los Reyunos, nido de las truchas arco iris más grandes de la región cuyana.

Debido a cuestiones ecológicas, la pesca puede estar restringida a un cierto número de ejemplares. Es decir que pescar está permitido, pero sólo en los lagos y ríos específicamente indicados para tal fin, y con una cantidad de presas per cápita limitada. Es por ello que existen tantos lagos artificiales en la zona, donde se pueden atrapar salmones, truchas y dorados de tamaño monumental. Sin embargo, ninguna de estas especies es tan típica y abundante como el pejerrey, mucho más fácil de pescar.

Al finalizar el día de pesca, cerca de las 5 o 6 de la tarde, los pescadores regresan al hotel en Mendoza capital, muy felices y satisfechos por la intensa jornada.

A Horseback Ride to Discover the Wonderful Andes

Experience the Majesty of the Grape Harvest Festival

March is the most festive month in the Cuyo region, due to the celebration of the traditional Grape Harvest Festival. Mendoza y su turismo gourmet

La gastronomía mendocina es conocida a nivel mundial por sus deliciosas comidas y sus delicados vinos regionales. He aquí la razón por la que muchos turistas del mundo entero acuden a la región cuyana a pasar sus vacaciones en Mendoza. Existe una gran cantidad de exclusivos tours gastronómicos disponibles para aquellos que se deleitan con la cocina de alta calidad y los exquisitos vinos que suelen acompañarla. En particular, los Tours del Vino incluyen visitas a las bodegas más relevantes de la provincia de Mendoza, donde los visitantes pueden tener un claro panorama acerca del proceso de producción del vino.

Su producto típico es el Tempranillo, un vino español, emblemático por su sabor rústico. En las instalaciones de O´Fournier se puede disfrutar de un almuerzo gourmet, el cual involucra dos tendencias de la cocina internacional, y acompañar el refrigerio con deliciosos vinos locales.

La próxima bodega es Clos de los Siete, un famoso conglomerado de viñedos gerenciado por siete socios franceses. Allí se ofrecen vinos de calidad Premium para cada cata y también algunos platos quienes prefieran almorzar en sus jardines.
